Syamak (Michael) Ghorashi
Mr. Ghorashi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in claims management and dispute resolution, contract management, project management, project controls, risk management and business operation assessment and optimization. His professional journey in the past 35+ years spans over development and implementation of the best-in-class standards and practices for major and complex projects/programs in a variety of industries such as electrical utilities (nuclear generation facilities and transmission & distribution), transportation, mining, manufacturing, aviation and construction. He established Ultimate Project Management Inc. in 1997 in Toronto, Canada.
Mr. Ghorashi has successfully setup and implemented several Project Management Offices (PMOs) since 1999. He invented a new concept of Contract Management Office (CMO) and since 2002 he has setup and implemented several CMOs in North America.
Mr. Ghorashi has been engaged in many large EPC and EPCM projects at different capacities. His expertise and strengths encompass full life cycle of project/program management, as well as contract management. He plays advisory role for organizations by coaching and mentorship to enhance their performance and efficiency from the front-end activities such as; response to RFPs/RFTs, contract formation and negotiation, to the back-end activities such as; execution and close out phase of the same. He empowers organizations by establishing proven processes, practices, methodologies and tools that would offer seamless, integrated, and effective systems; providing the senior management with accessibility and transparency to real time reliable information to make the Best Business Decisions in a timely fashion.

Reza Salamat
Mr. Salamat has 20+ years of experience in project management and project controls, in various industries such as; manufacturing, energy, and transit. He has extensive experience in project controls and risk management of the transit mega subway and LRT (Light Rail Transit) projects in Toronto, Ontario.
Mr. Salamat is highly skilled in operations optimization by establishment of state-of-the-art processes and application of best practices with a focus on simplicity and efficiency.
His superb ability in integration of critical components of large EPC projects such as; schedule, cost, risk, contractual obligations, construction methodologies, procurement strategies, and other project related constraints elevates the confidence of all stakeholders with respect to reliability of the setup and application of the project management and project controls.
Mr. Salamat has a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and is holding PMP, PMI-SP and PMI-RMP certificates from PMI. His passion is constructability and risk management for transit and energy projects with planning projects from feasibility study to close out. He has strong skills for utilizing project controls tools such as; Microsoft Project, Primavera, Oracle Risk Management (Pertmaster) and TILOS.
Mahdi Shahsavand
Mr. Shahsavand is a senior Management Consultant and has been accountable for large scale business transformation projects in various industries including EPC, retail, Automobile, public services, healthcare, aviation, mining and telecommunication. During his successful 20 years of experience, as a consultant or member of the executive team, he always stayed focused on creating value for the organizations through professionalism, creativity and leadership.
Mr. Shahsavand has extensive knowledge and proven track record in strategic planning and implementation, Process Management and optimization and organization design specially in large and multi-business corporations. His knowledge of the best in class methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Management, BPR, BSC and process frameworks along with his ability to develop specific solutions for each client resulted in significant financial and operational breakthroughs for the organizations.
Mr. Shahsavand has published two books in Process Management and Corporate Strategy. He has a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and holds CBAP certification from International Business Analysis Institute (IIBA).
Ghobad Zokai
Mr. Zokai is a professional engineer with extensive experience in project management, project engineering, contract management, and business development. His professional background spans over 35 years in number of specialties for the oil & gas, nuclear, electric power generation and electric power transmission & distribution industries.
Mr. Zokai has successfully led multi-disciplinary engineering teams, in many large EPC and EPCM projects, in a cross functional matrix environment organizations, in North America, Europe, and the Middle East, engaged in contracts and stakeholders management, and clients relationship management, supporting organizations achieving their strategic business objectives.
His expertise and strengths in full life cycle management of capital projects encompasses the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover to the owner operation. Additionally, his experience in maintenance management covers condition monitoring and reliability centered maintenance for the rotating equipment.
He believes learning and teaching flows in both directions and his passion for learning and transferring knowledge and experience is a “top-down, bottom-up” approach.
Mr. Zokai received his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from London University, London, UK. He is a registered Professional Engineer, P.Eng., in province of Ontario, Canada.
Sat Varma
Mr. Varma has a successful track record of over 40 years in planning, controls, and executing multi-discipline, multi-million dollar design and construction projects in the power and construction industry in Ontario.
Mr. Varma has extensive experience in project & contract management related to power generation and transmission projects. He also has an in-depth knowledge of, and hand-on experience in, developing processes, procedures and standards as required in the successful delivery of projects.
Mr. Varma believes that the key for the successful delivery of a project is to have a clearly defined project scope and objectives, appropriately skilled project team that understands its responsibilities and accountabilities, and an ongoing performance monitoring and forecasting system to ensure the achievement of the project objectives.
Mr. Varma graduated with a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Pappur Shankar
Mr. Pappur Shankar is a professional Mechanical Engineer with over 35 years of experience in advanced project management. He has a proven track record in simultaneously managing multiple complex projects, and demonstrated strong skills in cost engineering, change management and project controls in large and small capital projects for petrochemical, electric power generation facilities (nuclear and hydroelectric), electric power transmission and distribution, oil& gas, and mining industries.
Mr. Shankar has been engaged in developing business contacts for clients and using his expertise in providing clients’ requirements.
